Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance Wien Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

the location was very good and the staff was very helpful. The included breakfast was the best part.
The room was very average for a Marriott chain hotel.

The free internet is in the lobby and you cannot use your smart phones or tablets, you can only use the business center. Internet for a fee is very eaxpensive so don't use it unless you really need it, just go to the lobby. Fortunately, breakfast was include in our package and that was the best part, always try for the free breakfast if you can. Overall the location was right next to the U-Line which takes you to anywhere in the city so it was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel again but with managed expectations. ...read more

hotel has a pool
No working heating , neither the air condition blew warm nor the oil heating in the bathroom worked. Is Austria a former russian republic?

All retro from the seventies last century. No working heating at an outside temperature from 32 degrees Fahrenheit-0 degrees celsius (but warm water was OK). It is a deep shame for a 4 star hotel not to heat in winter and may be I would have awaited this in Russia or China countryside ( but within 35 years of lot of travel in no place of the world I had no neating in wintertime and snow and ice outside ...read more

The only thing nice about this hotel is the lobby.
The location is not in the "center" or heart of the city. The rooms are small and unclean. The cleaning lady did not even bother to vacuum the floors. The room was untidy and smelled.

The location is not in the "center" or heart of the city. The rooms are small and unclean. The cleaning lady did not even bother to vacuum the floors. The room was untidy and smelled. Since the building is somewhat modern, you would think that the windows would be somewhat sound proof. Well, they are not. This hotel is located by busy above ground train train tracks. So if you think you are going to sleep well here at this hotel, think again! ...read more

The bed was very comfortable. One of the staff at the hotel was very informative about city attractions.
Parking situation. We had to find parking at a street nearby.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and room was comfortable. The only complaint was a parking situation. The parking fee was expensive so we had to find parking near the hotel. Luckily northing happened and it was a safe neighborhood for our car to park.

convenient, very close to the metro station, the staff is superfriendly and helpful
the breakfast was not included and its addition was very costly, the WiFi is also an extra-charge

A mid-sized hotel, away from town-center by distance yet very close by metro. The rooms are nice and normal-sized. there's a small pool on the roof floor with great view on other roofs. The saunas are small and were not heated enough. The friendly staff is the hotel's big plus.

Across the street from the U-bahn.
No free Wifi, not even in the lobby and business center.

The hotel was relatively nice, though not perhaps up to 4-star standards. What was especially disappointing was the evident nickel-and diming going on. There was no complimentary breakfast and no free internet available anywhere in the hotel. The minibar in the room was not stocked. For a supposed 4-star establishment the lack of these services, which can be frequently found in 3-star hotels, was very disappointing. ...read more

Good location, close to U-bahn, not far from center of city.
Rooms small, furniture, carpet in room and electronics (TV) needs update, also internet connection expensive.
