Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

yes! loved, loved this hotel!! I stay here whenever I can, but, add in the great price I got from Priceline and it make my all ready great stay.... spectacular!
I all ready knew and have stayed before! however, I didn't know that I wouldn't get rewards for a stay through a third party! i should have guessed that, but, it was well worth it!

beautiful hotel, very nice rooms, good food in the bar area! a win-win if you stay!

Room was clean and appeared recently renovated, ie new carpet, furniture and wall paper. Near GS Parkway and NJ Turnpike. Plenty of parking.
This hotel is not visible on iphone maps. Noisy guests in the hallways

This hotel is a good alternative to Newark airport hotels.

Hotel room was really nice. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Great Location.
Restaurant food was over-hyped. It was below average. Was served warm lobster bisque soup with burn baby shrimp. Waiter wasn't too friendly or attentive. Didn't offend to get me something else to replace to crappy soup.

It was a nice hotel with great artwork and friendly staff. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Couch bed pillows had stains on it. I would stay here again but not eat in the Olio Restaurant. There are several other options for food in walking distance.

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel was the price.
Amenities not as described. Plus staff did not like providing transportation for handicap equipment in their free shuttle. First room was too loud. Second room had broken A/C. Finally got a decent room on the third try.

I was stranded at the train station upon arriving because they told me that they would not transport my scooter in their shuttle van even taken apart. They finally conceded when four different cab companies in the area said they were unable to provide transportation. Upon arriving I told them I did not want a first floor room and did not need a handicap accessible room as my scooter is for getting around because I can't walk long distances but was not necessary in the room. They insisted on putting me in a first floor handicap room RIGHT by the front entrance. Needless to say the noise of taxis, shuttle drivers, and guests right outside my door continued until after midnight, started up again with 4 a.m. deliveries, and 6 a.m. transportation services. I requested a new room and they put me in one. When I arrived back that evening, the air conditioner, which had been left on 72, was broken and it was 93 degrees in the room. After waiting over half an hour for someone to come see if they could fix it, I called the front desk to find out that they had forgotten to call maintenance. About 10 minutes later he showed up and turned the unit back on (I had turned it off) and said, "See, it blow cold now. No problem." It WAS a problem. I requested another room and they finally gave me one but were not happy about it. All three rooms featured ripped bed skirts and my last night there, I pulled down the covers to find that they had changed the sheets and put VISIBLY stained ones on the bed. Also the shuttle driver the second day was very rude about transporting me to the train station and on the third day, I was forced to wait for more than an hour for a shuttle. The hotel is only 2 miles from the station and the maximum wait time is supposed to be no more than 15 minutes, which is reasonable. Also the amenities were not as described. I find it hard to believe that this hotel is run by Marriott. I would not recommend this place and do not plan to ever stay here again. ...read more

The helpfulness of the staff.
I wish the bathroom was a little larger but I loved the fact that it had a clothesline!

This was my favorite of all hotels that we stayed at in NJ.

The woman who helped us at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. The lobby was beautiful and while we did not have a chance to use the indoor pool it was very nice. The room was large and very clean. The bed was beyond comfortable.

It was conveniently located right off the highway and easy to find. It was across the street from the Woodbridge Shopping Center and about a mile up the road from the Menlo Park Mall (where we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory). The staff was very friendly and the room was great.

Helpful staff, great welcoming lobby, nice physical structure. Roomy rooms.
Uncomfortable bed, poor-functioning WiFi for which you had to pay $9.95 for a 24-hr use.

Good location for business travel, on a busy site with easy access to amenities.

I stay at this hotel frequently via priceline, and therefore would like to provide an in depth review for future guests:1. The lounge area is very clean, and the bar staff is very good. An overall great atmosphere.2. Public facilities
No, the entire experience is always great.

The hotel is nicely situated off Route 1 next to shopping and several restaurants within walking distance. In fact, the Kona Grill is in the same parking lot. However, the hotel bar is great and the food is awesome. The hotel is upscale, contemporary and very comfortable.

3rd time staying there can't say anything bad about the hotel. Would rank it a 3.5 good indoor pool, has an outdoor pool in season, nice fitness center. Fridays & Ruby Tuesday in walking dist.
Can be tricky getting to hotel if you have never been there before and do not know the area.
