Very convenient to Santa Anita Racetrack, the suites are accommodating for 2 or more people. Our suite was very clean, although the side chair and loveseat looked a little worn. Great mattress!
Nothing major; the rooms could use a mirror in the bedroom area; need luggage rack(s); minimal toiletries are provided-bring your own!

We have stayed here twice for racing our horses @Santa Anita. Clean and roomy accommodations. Very friendly and attentive staff; they provide a wonderful complimentary breakfast daily (cold and hot foods) plus a couple of dinners (refer to the weekly pamphlet in each room). This is the only hotel in the area that allows pets (currently a $100/nonrefundable one-visit fee); a definite plus. The grounds are neat with a pet walk at the rear of the property. Within walking distance to the Derby Restaurant, plus other chain eateries. You do need a car to go to Trader Joe's (within 5 minute drive). ...read more

Old hotel. Designated for dislocated families that were perhaps dealing with fire or house issues, Second home. Apartment style.

I would not recommed this for a traveler because it is more like an apartment complex. I was not happy with it and it feel outdated although the staff are the best things about the place, the ambiance for visiting LA did not work.

Bad fold out bed, desk unwilling to help address problem, room dated.

Location was great, room was dated, odor from kitchen made it feel not clean. Fold out was bad even by fold out standards. Breakfast was good. Not a 3 star experience, maybe a 2 or 2.5.

Excellent all-inclusive values for price paid, no surprises, comfortable & fully equipped over sized suite.
Entrances can be hard to find w/o GPS, ceiling/floor & wall constructions & insulation for sound should be better.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay in this well-equipped home-away-from home suite, situated behind small shopping mall with local restaurants & on-site mini-mart for essentials. Free parking & wired broadband access included along with comp. full breakfast buffet. Easy 20 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to nearby Westfield Mall and 45 minutes to LAX at off-peak, quiet and very suburban feel location.
