Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn By Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. I love the rooms .. Free breakfast and dinner during the week and location
It was extremely busy, no amenities and parking prices were very expensive

The BEST things about this hotel was the proximity to the Magnificent Mile. Also, the FREE breakfast hit the spot (eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, and other goodies. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The fridge, stove, and dishwasher were a bonus.
The ONLY thing that was not good were the SMALL elevators. During high traffic times (i.e. breakfast), the wait to get on one was frustrating at times. This was the ONLY complaint with this hotel.

If you are looking for a home away from home, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location, and free breakfast.
No pool, we could hear dogs parking through the walls.

Very comfortable room and extremely clean. Having the kitchen was a huge bonus. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable.
Lopsided toilet seat, and the fact that there was only one garbage for whole suite. But those are itty bitty details.

This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. From the front desk to the room service ladies smiling and greeting me every morning in the hall, to the kitchen ladies rocking the breakfast service. Everyone was super friendly. Room was super clean, comfortable, and spacious. Kitchen was a huge bonus, especially the big fridge (aka wine cooler). Though I eventually got little tired of their breakfast, it's definitely nothing to complain about. Overall, a wonderful hotel that I would stay if I were to visit Chicago once again. ...read more

Room size, kitchen, free breakfast.
No pool.

Hotel was great; lots of room and good location. Bed was very comfortable, room and bath were clean. Like having a separate bedroom and living room area plus a full kitchen.

Full kitchen and amazing location for shopping on Michigan Avenue.
Nothing

Had a great one night stay at the Residence Inn. I was just there for a girl's shopping weekend and the location was amazing. The room itself was very nice and I only wish we could have stayed longer!
