Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn By Marriott Tampa Downtown

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great staff. Friendly and attentive.
The facility was more like in line with a La Quinta. Pool was dirty with leaves, lobby was musty, my pillow stunk like old man, and the breakfast was mediocre. Had much better at the Residence Inn in DC. Parking was a REAL pain in the ass.

Had a good stay but it certainly didn't feel like Marriot quality. It seemed as if they are maked operating cost cuts that reflected on the facility and services. The facility was more like in line with a La Quinta. Pool was dirty with leaves, lobby was musty, my pillow stunk like old man, and the breakfast was mediocre. Had much better at the Residence Inn in DC. Parking was a REAL pain in the ass. Oh yeah, no ice bucket in the room or an ice machine in my floor. I had to go down to the lobby and use a plastic bag as a receptacle. Even La Quinta has ice buckets in the room. Nonetheless, the price I paid for the room was in line with the quality of the stay. I would stay again if the price was right; but if I want quality, I will look elsewhere. ...read more

Great room, wonderfull friendly staff! LOVED the kitchen. LOVED the free breakfast and social hour. LOVED the pool area, basketball and bbq grill. Had a fantastic stay. Would definetly enjoy staying there again.
The ONLY thing I could think of that they did not have was room service to order food to the room after hours.

i was happy with the hotel.. I am not happy with priceline. Priceline has decline in the rest years. I do not think this was a 3 star hotel and I really didnt get a great price for what the hotel was. I am dissappointed in pricline with and the name your own bid is a waste and I will not ever recomminde it anyone. Futher more, i will not use priceline to book any of my further trips. I did call and complanin and the customer service rep said they would give me a $50 credit toward the next time I book with priceline... but when I received the email it was a total of $50 credit expanded over 5 nights and really it was only $10 off any futher books. ...read more

I did not like Priceline and the way the handled, or didn't rather, sending four people to a one bed hotel room.

The parking was a pain in the tush, the breakfast offerings were not very good. The staff didn't tell us we needed to request out room to be cleaned since we arrived very late/early in the morning. This was a subpar experience. The room was pretty good.
The parking costs money, the fact that there are no king beds available.

The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was above and beyond!!
Our company was in town working and there is nothing better than going back to your hotel and feeling like it is your home away from home. The breakfast was much better than any other hotel we have stayed at and the staff was very warm and friendly. This

The Residence at Marriot was simply the best. Great breakfast, staff, clean room, comfotable beds and pillows, parking was great for our truck and trailer. Priceline came through like a champ and The Residence at Marriot,Tampa ,was simply the Best. I would recommend this hotel and Priceline to all my friends and family.
