Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn By Marriott Torrance Redondo Beach

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I loved the kitchen!!
It was a great hotel, however the fold out couch was unsleepable due to a bad mattress. I wasn't allowed to use the jacuzzi even though it was 10

Nice hotel and a great breakfast. The beds were comfortable, however, the pull out couch was unsleepable due to a horrible mattress.

Though it was a nice surprise that they offered complimentary breakfast, the line was out the door and was not worth the wait in line.

Interior furniture was contemporary with good space for working and modern accessories.
Poor exercise faciliities, small pool, and unattractive lobby. Smoking smell in the first room.

Relatively nice interior decor for the class. Spacious.
Helpless hotel staff and thin floors.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel within the past month. The first experience was quite pleasant, but this time things changed. The thermostat of my room this time can only be lowered to 68F, and I called the front desk. They send a maintenance person, but he acclaims that it is the lowest it can be set in this hotel, which is not what I have experienced on my first day. The floor/ceiling between 1st and second floor is paper thin, you can hear everything from above from walking around, dragging their luggage cases, etc. If you want a quiet room on the second floor, you have to carry your luggage to the second by stairs because there are no elevators available. ...read more

I was not able to log onto the WiFi for the entire stay at the hotel (5 nights).

The hotel room was nice and quiet. Breakfast every morning was a great adventure. The food was fresh fruit, good eggs, toast, and most everything you would have for breakfast. Hotel personnel was friendly always with smiles. The inability to get to the Internet was a real downer. I will move rooms if I stay in another that does not connect.

It was across from my destination for a business function. Close to mall.
Room had a smell. Needs more breakfast staff help. Couldn't keep up with replenishment for crowd.

Great for business traveler. Breakfast had a variety to choose from. grounds were kept nice. Not sure how safe for children being so close to a major street.

Excellent location very clean large suites, Marriott quality free breakfast.
I had to leave.

This is the first time I have used this type of Marriott, but I will look for the residence chain more often. Accommodation was first class, but I always get this with Marriott's they are the best chain for value.
