Family Traveling with Young Children
Property is outdated. Issues with false fire alarms, broken appliances, poorly maintained elevators. Don't expect good service from the front desk, especially if you book through Priceline.

Residence Inn is a consistently a good place to stay and this one did not disappoint. We were not able to eat the breakfast in the morning, since we had to leave very early, but it looked better than most continental breakfasts. I would stay here again if given the opportunity.

This is one great place to stay! We were so impressed with the room...nice sized studio room with wonderful kitchen area. The kitchen was stocked with every conceivable dish, utensil, glass, etc. that you would want. A very quiet room and so clean. The bed was heavenly, so comfy and cozy. The staff at the Residence Inn is super, so friendly, accomodating, and cheery. The breakfast is great....delicious, fluffy scrambled eggs and the best creamy oatmeal we have ever eaten. We wanted an affordable hotel convenient to a Metro station. The Residence Inn Merrifield (Falls Church) is an easy 5-7 minute drive to the Dunn Loring Metro Station ($4.75 parking all day) and then you have a nice Metro ride down to center of things in Washington. The hotel is a few steps away from four or five restaurants and a CVS in the adjoining strip mall. A short five minute car ride gets you to a huge new shopping complex with lots of free parking in a new Target garage. The shopping complex adjoins more restaurants and don't miss the new "Mom's Organic Market". Wow! What a beautiful store filled with healthy, delicious, wonderful items. We loved the Residence Inn so much we stayed an extra day. This hotel is a winner! ...

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. When it comes to giving directions to this or that place, you can't beat them, they already have cards printed out for every place we had/wanted to go.
