Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Marriott Pittsburgh Monroeville/Wilkins Township
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 7, 2013
We did not make a reservation at this hotel. Our reservation was made at the Courtyard Hotel in Monroeville, Pa. Somehow, we were switched to this hotel without our knowledge and we were unable to stay with other family members at the Courtyard. Raymond Barley

XXX per day is a little high.
I just saw that this survey was for Monroeville. We stayed at the Residents Inn Northshore.

maybe a discount for every 3rd night or seniors or new parents. great service and personal feel from the staff. Very clean and we didn't hear anything after going to bed. Quiet, safe, and peaceful rest. We came for a special occasion...5 generation photo shoot and we used the grounds there for our backdrop. Just beautiful.

Staff very kind and welcoming. Breakfast provided was great, way more than just bagels and muffins. Very highly recommend this hotel.

An extremely comfortable hotel. Very practical. Conveniently located. Great breakfast included in the price. And extremely reasonably priced for what you get. This is now our favorite Monroeville hotel! We'll be back frequently while our daughter is a student at Pitt!

I thought it was wonderful, I will stay here again for sure. I was very glad to get a reasonable rate through priceline, the normal price is way to expensive for the location.

We loved everything about this hotel, except the front desk staff. At 5 am, we we awakened by water pounding on the window next to the bed. I am a very sound sleeper, but it was so load it woke both of us up. I thought someone was hosing it off, but it was the lawn sprinkler. This went on intermittently for about 10 minutes. We contacted the front desk 3 times about this (in person) before they even had a response for us. Once they even told us that, "It's only for 10 minutes.". That not the point since we didn't want to be woken up at 5 am at all! Finally they told us that the sprinkler only went off every other day, so we should stay in the room another night and they would figure out what to do after that. But, it must go off every day, because it woke us up at 5 the next morning as well. After complaining again, they finally moved us. After that, we slept pretty well, except we found out that if you plug your phone or anything else in to charge it in an outlet near the room phone, it will start beeping once it is charged. There is no note or sign telling you this. That woke us up at 3 am! So, of the 4 nights we were there, we were woken up early 3 times! On the plus side, the room was very nice and clean, and the maid service was excellent and very friendly. ...

cramped functional, but tight.
I would have no problem booking another two bedroom suite here. Would humbly suggest that if there are any future renovations or upgrades, that they consider putting in a small gift shop for those last minute items, perhaps just a kiosk in the main lobby. If they were to to any construction, perhaps a gift shop say maybe 400 square feet could be constructed over the main lobby, accessible via stairway or the existing elevator. ...
