Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn New Orleans Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

We loved this hotel. The room was amazing with a full kitchen, dining table, desk, and sofa. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel made our day in New Orleans more enjoyable.

We were in New Orleans to leave out on a cruise. This hotel is 1 mile from port, very convenient! We loved this hotel. The room was great with more amenities than expected. The full kitchen and sleeper sofa was a great addition. The bed was super comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Beds are so horrible and their is a slight mildew smell. It's surrounded by one ways and the parking lot is 20 dollars a night and 2 blocks away! The look was dirty and needs to be resurfaced as both my daughter and son cut their feet on the bottom.
How far away and expensive parking was

My problem is mainly with Priceline. I purchased the trip insurance thinking that it would cover stuff like having to cancel one of our rooms to to the people traveling with us having an emergency back home. I called the number for the insurance and the person zoom very little email, didn't sound like they knew what they were talking about and changed their story 5 times. The travel insurance covers things that the hotels already have insurance to cover like theft. It's worthless! ...read more

The staff seemed to look down on us due to the fact we went through Priceline. When there was a problem with the room they said we would have to call Priceline which is absolutely ridiculous.

We had to pay for parking and the front desk clerk was not helpful in giving directions to the parking lot. The hotel itself was very nice but the staff was not.

Clean, recently updated, friendly staff, and the best free hotel breakfast you'll ever have. Seriously. Tons of options, and hot and fresh.
A little off the main path, not very close to public transit. But it's totally worth it for the peace and quiet, not to mention it's just a great hotel!

Request a room facing the courtyard as others have suggested. Perfectly quiet and had no noise issues. Staff is ready to help and very friendly. They offer free grocery pick-up and free evening drinks and appetizers. I wasn't able to use these features, but I'm sure they are great also. Hotel was clean, recently renovated, quiet, safe. I had zero complaints. Free wi-fi and breakfast (ends at 9am during the week, so don't miss out!) Best Priceline hotel yet! There is a great little sandwich places 2 blocks away called 'Butcher'. I recommend it if you're looking for a good, quick bite and don't want to go far. ...read more

Great room with bed and sectional sofa, office desk and chair, full kitchen option. Great hot breakfast, close to downtown, nice pool and interior exterior designs.
Our room door would shut so loud it was bit creepy. Also fee for parking is annoying. Wi-fi did not work on our room at all.

Close to downtown 5 mins drive, some corner room has patio with good view. Hot breakfast was excellent and nice and cozy spaces. The pool and outdoor sitting area is beautiful. It was a quiet surrounding but some buildings around the hotel look ghetto but no problems at all.

Enjoyed the courtyard, the open and spacious room, the amenities and that they were pet friendly.
We wish we had known about parking. $22 to park blocks away from the hotel and walk back in the rain ? In addition, the women at the front desk claimed that we could park in the street across from the hotel at no charge. We were ticketed! NOT happy!!!

The entrance, security, rooms (other than a toilet that would not work...we fixed), amenities were all wonderful. The knowledge of the staff was lacking and inconsistent depending on whom you spoke to. The location wasn't ideal, but it wasn't bad either. If we were to have brought our pets and our kids...planned to stay near the hotel, at the pool or wanted to BBQ, it would have been great (other than the parking). Overall, it was a nice experience. ...read more

The room had an icemaker but it was turned off, no ice maker available, staff brought ice. Breakfast was over at 9:30 am a little early! Parking was a block away.

Good hotel, parking a block away and breakfast ends at 9:30
