Residence Inn Orlando International Drive

I would not recommend this hotel to others. They did not deserve an above average rating. Units need to be updated, painted and cleaned properly.

It was decent for the price. Very close to Universal Studios and the Orlando Airport. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the pool area was nice. The only bad thing is that the beds were uncomfortable and noisy.

Near restaurants, anything you want. Residence Inn was clean, great staff but the free breakfast was bad although there was variety powered eggs sausage wasn't done every day. Close to parks. Would not come back during spring break, traffic was bad lines at parks were terrible.

Pros: Location, free full breakfast, and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays there is a happy hour where you get free meal and beer or wine. Cons: none that I know of

Location was great - room was very spacious, included a kitchen, would be great if traveling with kids. Beds were very comfortable. buffet breakfast was included was very good.

This Residence Inn was very large, 11 bldgs and was in walking distance to International Drive and lots of restaurants if you didn't want to get out in traffic. Our room was huge, but not as nicely furnished as other Residence Inns we have stayed at, and was very comfortable. The bed was only a queen size and we prefer a King, but they said they only had queens or 2 double beds in all rooms. Housekeeping was excellent, didn't complain about coming back later so we could lounge around after breakfast. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they kept it well stocked even though it was a very full hotel and lots of people eating at the same time between 8 & 9AM.
