This is a great place to stay if you are visiting downtown Portsmouth. It is a quick walk to all the eataries and the water and it is very quiet at night.

I love the stocked kitchen and the great use of space.
Parking is not included in the room price.

This was my second stay at the Residence Inn in Portsmouth. Both times, the rooms were clean and well designed. The breakfast was well done, and the public areas attractive. I'll be back again!

It says waterfront in name and it is not waterfront. Wish they had outdoor pool or at least area to sit.

Staff were extremely courteous, helpful and professional. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.
Shower enclosure is European-style with fixed glass partition that does not close fully; the floor ends up wet.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, with a full kitchen, sizeable sitting area with sofa and chair, and a very comfortable bed. Extremely clean, very bright with large windows. Very nice self-serve breakfast was included, with fruit & yogurt, hot food, cereals/toast, pastries, etc. Staff were extremely courteous, helpful and professional. Easy to walk to downtown area for food, shopping, entertainment.
Lack of parking on arrival for for drop off. We had to walk 2 blocks in 90+ heat with all our luggage.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. located very conveniently to the downtown area. A short walk to food, entertainment, and shopping.
