Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Seattle Lake Union
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 6, 2013

The hotel is extremely close to a street car station and located across from a Marina. Picturesque setting suitable for families, seniors, couples. The facilities are beautifully maintained and very spacious. the courtyard is a great gathering point.

In spite of the cost for secured parking, we would recommend this property for anyone looking to visit Seattle. The rooms are first class, the complete breakfast is complimentary, and the access to public transportation to the downtown area is just a couple of walking minutes away, if that. The trip to downtown Seattle via bus or light rail is less than 10 minutes. We'll be back next year! ...

Great location, nice facility, nice room, friendly staff. Be prepared to pay for safe parking in the hotel garage rather than street, however.

Rooms are nice but the place is a little stuffy. The rooms have balconies but you can't smoke on them, which defeats the purpose of having a balcony in my opinion. I booked 5 rooms for a large group that I was hosting in Seattle. They were driving two large 15 passenger vans which could not fit into the parking garages. The woman that checked us in told us, "I don't think we can accommodate that. Maybe at the loading dock." Fortunately when the vans arrived their check in was much more pleasant and they were taken care of. Booking 5 rooms and trusting a hotel to take care of a group of people that you are responsible for on business is a big deal. I would expect a business customer such as myself to be treated well but we were not upon check in. Everyone else in the hotel seemed perfectly friendly but because of the one unpleasant interaction upon our arrival I would hesitate to stay here again, especially with a large group that could need a little extra hospitality. ...

This hotel on the edge of downtown is a great base for exploring Seattle, and some of the attractions like the Museum of History and Industry are right at your doorstep. The suites are super comfortable, as are the common spaces, so it is also a great place to rest and relax. The breakfast is the best I have ever had at a hotel.
