Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Washington, DC Downtown

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Lovely large room with couch, frig, coffee pot and fairly close to National Mall- a little far for walking but ok if rested and ready to walk.
I did not like the unexpected $38 charge (including DC tax!)for one night of parking. This was not clear on Priceline's site and was not appreciated.I would have bid lower had I known I had to add this charge.Would have preferred 2 beds instead of 1 queen.

Beautiful hotel. Would have preferred a king bed or two separate beds. 1 queen was ok for my daughter and me, but not my preference. Room was spacious and beautiful. Staff were pleasant but only one person checking in and out so it was a bit slow. Helpful with maps and directions. Breakfast was superb! Not your ordinary free breakfast but included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, waffles with a bar of toppings- fruit, chocolate chips, etc. Also with yogurt- and not only standard cups- but "parfaits" of yogurt, granola, and fruit. Of course there was coffee, juice, even hot chocolate. It was first class. ...read more

Staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. Those at front desk, in breakafast area, and valet were all extremely nice and made me smile. I accidentally left myiphone & laptop in the car when I went to valet, and th was still there when returned.
Bed and pillows were ok, but not fabulous (my only complaint, and that is minor).

Great locatiôn. Best breakfast provided ever! Nicest staff in every part of hotel.

The room is very cozy, clean and great. They provide different free drinks in the room and also popcorn. The kitchen staff is all ready and I also cooked the lunch for myself. The location is very good and about 10-minute walk from white house.

Location, able to cook, free WiFi, free breakfast :)
The front desk staff did not tell us about holiday hours for breakfast nor were we told about the Clubroom dinner hours..we spent 2 nights.

Great deal for 1st night..just wondering if I would have gotten the same deal for both nights if I would have booked them at the same time.

The room had lots of space and was clean. We were very pleased with room.
Expect to pay at least $ xx. more than your room rate for taxes and parking.

Will probably stay here again if I go back to DC. Location is very good, close to metro and just a short walk to National Mall.
