Hotel Guest Reviews of the Revere Hotel Boston Common

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was great and clean. The service was fabulous.. From the front desk to the valet parking. Everyone was very accommodating. We did an evening check in and were given Champagne. Very nice touch. Boston theatres were all right around the corner.

Great location. Great service. We will deffinately stay here again.

Apart from the spacious room, with lovely beds the staff were remarkable. My mother being claustraphobic does not take elevators, so security would escort her up 9 floors everyday and down. The staff were helpful, friendly and went above and beyond.
The tv channels could be a bit fuzzy

The lowest floor is on the ninth floor, so if you do not take elevators be prepared for a hike. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are very big and maintained to a very good standard. If you have no problem with elevators this hotel is perfect. Centrally located as well.

The new renovations are great! The staff was fabulous and very helpful.
There was a party in the room next door that kept me up until 3am. I called security once but it didn't solve the problem. The door between the rooms has no sound protection.

Location was excellent for sight-seeing, especially Boston Common and Beacon Hill areas, and there were lots of dining options nearby. Room was quiet, and hotel never felt busy/crowded.
Nearest MBTA stops were a few blocks away and did not have escalators, and multiple train changes were usually needed to reach destination. Hotel lobby always had an overpowering perfume odor

I was on a hybrid business/leisure trip with my wife. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and the location was great for the leisure part of the trip. However, reaching the Boston Convention Center could be a bit of a hassle. The nearest MBTA stops were Green or Orange lines, and in both cases, two transfers (to Red line then Silver SL1 or SL2) were required to reach the Convention Center. It could sometimes take as much as 40-45 minutes to make the trip one-way. A Silver Line bus to South Station was also an option, but it did not run on as frequent/reliable a schedule as the trains. This is really the only major complaint about my stay. The hotel itself was very nice, and the Sleep Number beds in the room are a nice touch - best night's sleep I've had at a hotel in years. Free WiFi is also a nice touch (most hotels like this charge through the nose), if a little on the slow side. Also it would be nice if the network had a security key. Television quality left a bit to be desired, but not a major problem. Shower was very nice - great water pressure Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel for most purposes except if you are on business at the Convention Center. In that case, try to find something closer to it or near a Red line stop. ...read more

Location was fantastic. Staff was amazing. Did want to mention some exceptional staff members that were extremely helpfull, Dan, Nick, and Joseph. Champagne on check in was a very nice touch. Thank you to everyone!
Cost of parking for 2 nights was a bit expensive. I thought housekeeping could have been a bit better.

Great location in theater district , was able to walk everywhere. Extremely friendly and helpfull staff. Parking car overnight was a bit expensive.

Great decor with comfortable beds. Linens were clean and fresh. The Skoah bath products were a great amenity.
I wish I knew the pool was going to be closed for construction during our stay. It would have made the day the city was on lock down more bearable.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Even though there was a family with a couple small children next door, we didn't hear anything. Beds were comfortable. Nice shower and bathroom amenities. And the location was very convenient.

Hotel was 3 blocks from Boston MArathon finish line so location was fabulous. Staff were very helpful and attentive when I got back - getting me hot chocolate from the kitchen to warm me up. Loved the place - will stay there again in a heartbeat.

Loved the hotel. Very modern, great location for Boston Marathon finish line and Boston Common.

The hotel was beautiful, great location, lovely rooms and balcony.
We selected this hotel for a mini vacation with our three young boys because it had a pool. We weren't told that the pool was under construction and therefore couldn't be used. We ended up switching hotels which was very timely and inconvenient.

Nice hotel, but wasn't forthcoming about the pool not being open. We switched hotels.
