Solo Traveler
I stayed here for one night while on a weekend trip. The room was large and nicely decorated, and the bed was one of the more comfortable motel beds I've experienced. The property was in excellent shape inside and out. The lady at the desk was very friendly. The WiFi worked well, as did the big flat screen TV.I had dinner at the Cookhouse restaurant (a local barbecue place) and breakfast at the Three Brothers Family Restaurant, both about a mile down the road, and both were execellent. I only had a couple quibbles. The sign out front was difficult to read at night, and I missed the driveway and had to turn around. The TV had this big on/off button that was illuminated with a bright blue LED. That might not bother some people, but I found it annoying when I turned out the light. I found some blue painters tape in my trunk and covered it up.Overall it was a nice stay. I paid about $85, which was reasonable for the area and the quality of the room. I would stay again. ...
