Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Charlotte
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 5, 2013

This hotel is right off a busy/loud highway. There were homeless people all over the road the hotel was on. They had barbwire fencing around the hotel. When we first arrived we pulled around the side to take our luggage in and there were 3 men fixing about 4 crashed trucks in the back of the lot for 3 days. Tried calling the front desk the first night to see about switching the room and no one answered. Went downstairs to the front desk and no one was there. Has to be the worst hotel I've ever been to. The only thing decent about this place was the bed. The fridge temperature control was broken so all of our drinks and food froze. The shower leaked every time you used it. ...

Not a family place. Not somewhere to be if you plan on spending time in the room. Maybe a good place if all you want to do is sleep and shower---

It was outdated and small, but it was inexpensive and covered our need so no complaints.

Toilet wouldn't flush so staff gave us a plugger to use ourselves.

Not sure how this hotel had such a favorable review. When, I asked the rental car agent for directions he recommended, that I make reservations at a different hotel.

No iron, very small room, but if you need a clean place to stay and cheap, this is for you.

We knew this was an inexpensive hotel and we weren't expecting luxury, just a place to sleep after a concert. The female clerk at the desk was very polite and professional.

For the price we paid, this was an excellent hotel. It satisfied our basic needs, and was better than we expected. The only thing I would point out is that the "queen" bed is actually what they called a "deluxe full", but seemed like a regular full sized bed to me.
