Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Christiansburg

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. They refused to give us extra pillows. They would not open their breakfast before 7AM (even though there were only 2 cars in parking lot).

It is a place that a person would stay out of necessity, not choice. It was right off the interstate exactly where we wanted to say. For that reason, we went there. However, I wish we could have found something else for the same price further north on I-81 in Virginia.

The clerk at the desk was nice.
The shower was broken and plaster coming off the walls dust bunnies
the corners, unsafe.

This place is so run down and locks on the doors have been broken off and replaced with cheap ones and no backup lock on the doors I slept with the chair under the door knob. The linens were thin and stained and the shower rod was bent and about to fall down and the corners of the room had dust bunnies in them. The fridge was old and hardly worked and the lighting outside was dim and creepy. ...read more

Location near I-81.
Old, dirty, and unpleasant.

Room was very old. The door was not sealed in the frame, so I had to put a towel in the door frame to keep the bugs out. Bed was extremely old and I used my own pillows because I was concerned with the cleanliness. I choose the motel due to it's proximity to the interstate for my cross-country trip, but I would not stay again.

Very nice and friendly staff.
Rooms are not very well isolated form noises coming from the adjacent rooms.

Nice and peaceful small motel type place. It meets adequately the expectation for the money it costs.

Room smelled moldy, air unit was noisy, one bed was sagging.

Budget accommodation for someone traveling with pets. 1950's throw back motel design. No frills, not enough towels, smells unused.

This place is not worth the money I have spend.
The orange juice tasted like water; staff was not available at check-out.

I not ever book any Rodeway Motels because of this place. I had to go twice to the office, since the key did not worked. I did not feel save. The connecting door had visible signs that someone tried to kick the door in. Towels looked Grey. Rooms are in need of renovation ... the wall paper is pealing off.
