Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn National City
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.July 26, 2012

Overall very good experience. My friend and I are college students with no car or other means of transportation, so the closeness of the bus and trolleys was very helpful. If you are willing to spend more money and have a means of getting around though, I would advise others to look elsewhere. It was nice, but not that great.

This hotel is not in the best part of town and I definitely felt like my husband and I didn't belong with the rest of the hotel patrons. We ended up forfeiting our second night there because I just felt really uneasy there. The staff were less than helpful. The rooms were relatively nice other than the beds being extremely uncomfortable and the neighbors shower making an extremely loud noise first thing in the morning. Definitely needs some maintenance done! ...

It is located right by the freeway, so it was convenient going to SD. However the service was not great. We asked extra towel and they said they run out the towel. What a cheap service.

For the price, I was not expecting much and this place delivered. we just needed a bed for the night before heading out of town and that was about all we got. It is in a marginal area and the other people staying at the hotel looked really rough. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, a banana, and a muffin.
