Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Portland Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Friendly, efficient staff.
No Microwave. Ridiculously low shower head.

It's an old and worn hotel and just barely meets acceptable standards. The price is good and it's close to public transport into Portland.

The staff was very helpful .
The loud housekeeping staff

I think the staff at the front desk was the best part of my stay. They were very helpful w directions and willingness to help when i informed them on housekeeping staffs loudness.

This hotel has always been a great place to stay due to clean rooms and park & fly.
They don't have park & fly anymore. There were two issues with this room. The front door hinges were falling off, door was very hard to shut. The toilet seat & lid were falling off. This was our fifth or sixth time staying here and never had issues before

They need to bring back the park & fly option, although they do have it on the other side at the same location only more costly than the Rodeway Inn.

A needed bed after a long flight.
The room was atrocious. Not worth the $ or the star level. Plus we requested a "quite" room - they placed us near a active meeting room. We have stayed at Roadway in the past - but I'm not sure we will ever stay there again.

closeness to PDX
very dissapointed!Priceline stated a free shuttle and free parking; we were charged $6/day for parking and also told we would get a free breakfast which we did NOT!Information on Priceline very misleading!Feebies were the only reasons for staying

Staff were super helpful, providing me with a few things I forgot to bring. MAX station is directly behind the hotel so I parked my car and didn't drive again until I left to go home.

No frills hotel but I was only looking for economical and convenient. This was both. Elmers Restaurant is in easy walking distance, and was delicious. The MAX station being so close was a bonus since we were there for an event at the convention center and we avoided having to drive downtown and park.

It was cheap.
It was cheap... kind of old, musty (although clean), outdoor access, traffic noise all night. I got what I paid for. Staff was really friendly and helpful...the hotel's best asset by far.

If you're looking for a cheap, clean, cheap, quick easy access, cheap hotel I'd book it. For a vacation with the family I wouldn't. Did I say cheap?

Located near the freeway. Price was decent.
We were there for three nights, and each night there was a lot of room from the other rooms around us. May have been chance, but we weren't able to sleep very well each night. The walls are thin, we heard our neighbors watching TV and talking.

Decent hotel, not great. If you just need to place to sleep and don't care about your surroundings, it's fine.
