Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Saco

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Not expensive and satisfied my requirements.
The way the tucked the pillows into the bed spread. The bed spread has got to be dirty and yet the fresh pillow case was in contact with this.

For the money, it's a good place to say.

Staff friendly, continental service excellent.
Walls were dirty, visible soil on bedding, no coffee maker.

Convenient between Saco and Old Orchard.
Dirty and the people that ran it barely spoke English.

I was in a bind, and they let us stay 2 extra nights. It did cost a lot more, but we needed to stay.
The beds were like sleeping on the ground! My personal belongings had been gone through while we were away.

The room was ok. It had a table, and a little kitchen. That was better than sitting on our beds eating meals. The TV. It barely came in. We had to mess with the wires constantly. My 10 year old wasn't impressed at all. He wanted to go somewhere else. That says it all.

Not as clean as expected.

The place was awful. Beds were hard, pillows were paper thin, towels were stiff and scratchy and indoor pool was not open for use.

Hotel was very quiet.
Was very plain.

Hotel was ok for economy. Was very quiet and could relax. Nothing fancy.

Bed too small. Overpirced, no ice machine. Lousy continental breakfast.

How can they not have a ice machine in a resort area. The manager gave me ice from his home refrigerator.

Cleaned nicely during day.
Smoke smell was horrible, purchased deodorizer, stains on blanket.

Arrival was horrible. Room had a terrible smoke smell and I complained. I could not switch rooms, I was only offered dollar store air freshener. I had to purchase my own Lysol to spray all week. I have had smoking rooms before but not with such a bad odor. There were stains on the blanket under the bedspread. The continental breakfast area really needed new tables, counters etc. It looked old and the stuff needed to be replaced. I have stayed in hotels many times and this is the first time I have ever complained. ...read more
