Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Salem

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Decent value for the money.
There weren't any towels in the pool towel basket. Continental breakfast was minimal.

For the price it is the best one we have found in the area.
Walls between rooms were very thin.

We have a need to stay in a hotel when visiting my mother in Salem. So far this one has worked out best for our stays in the area. Liked the large shower.

I loved that there where more selections for a king bed! But the bed was hard and uncomfortable.
It was dirty! Mold in the bathroom! Outdated! They need to tear it down and start over. May have been cheap but not worth it.

We only stayed there because we didn't want to confront the unfriendly staff about a refund. The hotel was horrible. It smelled there was mold in the bathroom, the bed was hard, some of the appliances didn't work. It was not our best stay!

Good, clean, comfortable - excellent for the price.
Location is somewhat out of the way; continental breakfast was somewhat sparse.

It was clean and comfortable. Nice staff. We were not looking for a deluxe resort or accommodations. We were just in town for a night for business and it was a very good bargain for the price.

Interesting patrons- many cultures and characters.
Breakfast options were terrible/minuscule.

OK for a quick overnight with no frills.
