Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Springfield

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nothing. Even the final price was higher than the one offered by Priceline.
Bikers, filthy carpets, strange women and dated furniture.

You should go to this hotel if you must for price reasons. Otherwise, a cleaner, friendlier and slightly higher priced hotel is better--especially if you are traveling with children.

Check in person was so nice, helpful, and very friendly.
The heating unit was horrible!

The staff was incredibly friendly for a late night Sunday check-in. They were equally as friendly in the morning, offering breakfast. I was up most of the evening with the heater blowing hot, then cold. I couldn't seem to get it to function properly. There was just too much wiggle-room with the controller button. I was in the room traveling for a business trip, a total of nine hours, very unpleasant. On a positive note, most of the hotel heaters/AC units are problematic. ...read more

This was a really screwed up experience. Crack head hotel with the same type off management
Management' s help with me calling about a problem that had persisted all night was worse than dealing with problem.

Dirty, Crackheads partying all night coming and going.

The price quoted at your site was misleading. It was $5 more than expected because of some small print somewhere on the ad. Deceptive.

The location was good for me as was really close to the church.
The phone in the room never worked and the wireless, also the shower wasn't a good one.

Cleanliness.
Staff.

Nice place, near to shopping, despite displaying airport shuttle on website, never arranged a pick up or drop off from the airport. When called for shuttle, staff told me that it has gone to Newark and will not return in 4 hrs. Then asked for the drop off in the morning, they refused the shuttle again. Staff was very unfriendly, rude and did not know how to talk to customers.

The location was OK.
The service was rude, unfriendly, and non-accommodating. old, crumbled bagels. Out of coffee, etc. Couldn't take coffee/bagel for road.

Would not recommend for families with children. It costs $10/child more per night. Not worth it since we had to get breakfast elsewhere. Only old crumbled bagels were offered. Couldn't take it or coffee for the road. Scowled when another patron put coffee in her travel mug rather than using a styrofoam cup...signs not to take any food out of the room, and NO smiles, only grunts from check-in staff. ...read more
