Hotel Guest Reviews of the Royal Plaza

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location
Hotel added over $30 to priceline prepaid agreement to use amenities and to park. We did not use any amenities but still had to pay for them. This added 25% to our expense. We feel ripped off.

Be wary of added fees be hotel when you check in. Can't even use pool without added fees

Location.
The full size beds(to small). The TV's were old (new flat screens would be nice). Pillows were old and wore out. No refrig/microwave. We were there 4 nights and the room was clean the room twice. No free wifi that was extra.

The location was great. The over all stay was okay. Would not go back.

I love the location which is right next to downtown Disney.
The furniture in our room was old looking and needed to be replaced. The faux leather computer chair was cracked and peeling in several places, while the sofa was sagging badly in the middle. The carpet was soo grungy and stained.

One of the things we decided on this hotel was the supposed shuttle to the theme parks. Unfortunately it takes forever for the bus to get there, and since the hotel is the bus next to last hotel pick-up, it almost always is full of passengers.

Location was great!
Customer service was not high and some things in the bar and restaurant were misleading.

The hotel rooms needs to be updated. Rooms smell very bad & are damp.
Not really.

Would not recommend to anyone for the price.

Location was good.
The carpet was dirty. The tub was terrible and covered in black mildew. The resort fees were too high considering it was too cold to even use the pool.

Online it said newly refurbished. I can guarantee that didn't mean our room. It felt very dirty with black mildew in the shower. Very dirty carpet and tile floor. It must have been the lobby that was refurbished.

Close to parks, allowed late check out
Pool bar is only open seasonally, they said there was free wifi but there was no signal at all, no mini fridge in the room.

This hotel was ok. Nothing special, clean enough and has a great location. Since my daughter insists on swimming as much as possible I wanted a hotel with a bar outside but this one was closed. I called the front desk about getting food and drinks outside and they said no. It was fine overall but just nothing that makes me really want to go back.

Location is good. Front desk was very helpful and very nice.
Not enough drawer space in room. Food was to expensive and not very good.

Rooms don"t come with refrigerator or microwave without extra charge, Parking is extra and food to expensive. Has bus transpoertaion to parks every thirty minutes. Can walk to down town Disney or many restraurants.

The customer service is outstanding.
They were under construction and would wake us up to early every morning. Could not sleep very well and only half the lights would work until after dark. Not worth the money.

Just expected more for the money I'm coming back to florida in June but I will not be staying with Royal Plaza. Maybe after the construction and all updates are finished. But I really dont know...

The chef greated us for breakfast ..and we did not pay for the kids the first morning..as we explain that when we checked in they did confirm that kids under 10 ate free.
publicity shows as if part of Disneys Hotel..which is not...needs renovation..staff not understanding..hidded fees.........cost 30% more than expected....

Too expensive.for what it is...to many hidden fees.....charge for internet even though you do not use it!!! Other than the chef staff is not helpful..no smiles... would not recommend.
