Hotel Guest Reviews of the Royal Sonesta Hotel New Orleans
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 6, 2013

Overall, the stay at the hotel was great. My priceline experience has left a little to be desired though. This was the first time I've used priceline. Reservations went clean and easy. After checking out though I noticed that not only had priceline charged me, but hotel had too! Worst part of it was that was the hotel charged me was actually CHEAPER than what priceline charged. In regards to the hotel though, I would recommend it. Overall location is great. ...

This was my 3rd stay in this hotel. I love it for its location but also because it is really nice inside. There is a pool with a poolside bar if you want to hang and relax. The hotel has a lounge with jazz music in the evenings and another bar accessible from the outside as well as an oyster bar. There are also conference rooms available and a coffee shop.

Beautiful hotel in prime location. You feel secure once you step into the lobby from Bourbon St. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was very accomodating. I loved being able to walk everywhere in the French Quarter, and make it back to the hotel after partying without worry about driving.

Do not stay here unless you are guaranteed a room not on the Bourbon Street side. Why does the hotel not install double glazing to minimise the sound?
