Hotel Guest Reviews of the Royal Sonesta Hotel New Orleans
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(3) | Solo Traveler(12) | Traveling as Couple(27) | Family with Young Children(2) | Family with Teens(4) | Senior Traveler(1) | Group Traveler(3)

I really liked the styling of the hotel. It had a really old luxury hotel feel.
For the price they charge, the hotel shouldn't charge $36 a night for parking or charge for internet.

Lovely modern room and bathroom in the heart of french quarter.
the artwork on the walls and the location s noisy but expected for the area
I highly recommend this hotel. Just remember that it is noisy as it is located on bourbon street. Not a big deal for me.

Convenient, safe, clean, friendly. All good.
A
comfortable bed should priority 1 at any lodging. This bed just seemed 3rd rate.

The comment about the third rate bed should not diminish my overall appreciation of the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans. The facility was absolutely fantastic in every other aspect. They just need a first rate sleeping surface.

Close to all the activities of the city.
The cost of parking for my rental car was $30 per day. Way too high!
If you want to stay in the French Quarter this is really the only hotel to consider. It's location is close to all popular tourist attractions of the city. Location also offers security from some of the unsafe areas of Downtown New Orleans.
