Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rustic Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was large and clean. The staff was excellent. The staff gave us directions to some good eateries and a great way to go back to Grand Junction.
When someone in another room used the shower or sink the noise in our room was rather loud.

This is an older place but it has been updated inside. The beds were comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The place was centrally located so we could walk to main street.

Good location, good price compared to the other motels in the area, full size refrigerator, microwave
No sink or mirror in the bathroom...you have to use the sink in the kitchen area. Mirror is above kitchen sink with very poor lighting.

Moab is a popular town so the motels can charge anything they want and they can get it. I don't think the room was worth the money but compared to the other motels, it was the best deal. The pool area is small but we didn't use it so I don't know if it was heated or not.

for the price it was a nice clean room if not somewhat unorthodox. there was a nice kitchenette but the sink did double duty as the bathroom sink. This surely was not a first class joint, staff was great as were the beds and cleanliness.

budget hotel at its best. great on-site manager. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Motel had swimming pool, grills and hot tub. Had an on-site book exchange. next time we are in Moab will stay there at the Rustic!

It was in close proximity to all the places we were wanting to visit.
The price was way too high for the room but reasonable in comparison to others in the area. We stayed at a Clarion in another town the night before so what a let down and it was less than half the price.

The first impression is not good. The wall color is dark and with the horrible lighting and no sheers to enable you leave the curtains open, it is rather depressing. Oh what a coat of paint could do. Don't be surprised..no bathroom sink. You have to use the kitchen sink. Bathroom nice. Cleaning crew did a great job but leaves you an envelope for a tip. The staff was nice and helpful. Paid more for a pool but it wasn't open. It was comfortable after getting used to it. I guess I just expected a lot more for what I paid. ...read more

Location, friendly hotel staff, shuttle service.
Main door to room locked but wasn't secure enough for me to leave any valuables in the room. Dated interior. The kitchen sink doubled as the bathroom sink.

For the relatively low cost, we had a good experience. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. There were no plans to stay in the hotel room for very long as too much to do in the area. This would serve as a good place to rest but then get out. The location was great, just one block off the main street with plenty of bar/restaurant options. They offered a shuttle service to the Castle Creek Winery. We had Terry for a driver and made it really fun, offering tidbits about Moab during the drive. I would still book again in the future although try to get a few more bucks off the price. ...read more

The price was right. The room was clean. The location was awesome.
The pool wasn't open. No breakfast.

I would stay here again. Great experience with this place. To be honest, I was expecting worse. We drove by the day before and the outside doesn't look too great. There might be some little things that others have mentioned that might not be great (i.e. kitchen sink serves as a bathroom sink), but we had a great time at a clean hotel. My favorite thing was that it's so close to everything. We walked to dinner. We took a late night stroll for ice cream. We walked to breakfast. Good location and quiet. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. ...read more

Nice location. Helpful staff. Nice kitchenette. Bathroom was strange. No sink, use kitchen sink for all washing up. Toliet set right next to door not centered in room. Overall good for the price and expectation.

The room and bath were very spacious and clean. It had 2 queen beds, a huge desk, and still plenty of space to move around. Although no "full" kitchen, it had a big fridge, dishes and silver, micro, and small coffee maker. Off main drag, so it was quiet.
Room need minor repair (bathroom door) and paint. A toaster would have been great too.

Upon arrival, we were treated with courtesy and our check-in went very smoothly. Being on the first floor, we were able to park right outside our door, so it was very easy to bring in our belongings. The room was VERY spacious, compared to most motel rooms. I had booked 2 rooms since there were 3 of us, and they had even put us in adjoining rooms without me asking! The bathroom consisted of a large tub (and great water pressure) and toilet. The sink was outside the door in the kitchenette, no big deal. Don't plan on doing any cooking here, there is no stove/oven. But it had a large fridge, micro, dishes and silverware, and a mini coffeemaker. Unfortunately, no toaster, which we would have appreciated. The location was perfect, one block off the main drag, which was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. ...read more
