Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rustic Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 19, 2013

This is an older place but it has been updated inside. The beds were comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The place was centrally located so we could walk to main street.

Moab is a popular town so the motels can charge anything they want and they can get it. I don't think the room was worth the money but compared to the other motels, it was the best deal. The pool area is small but we didn't use it so I don't know if it was heated or not.

budget hotel at its best. great on-site manager. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Motel had swimming pool, grills and hot tub. Had an on-site book exchange. next time we are in Moab will stay there at the Rustic!

The first impression is not good. The wall color is dark and with the horrible lighting and no sheers to enable you leave the curtains open, it is rather depressing. Oh what a coat of paint could do. Don't be surprised..no bathroom sink. You have to use the kitchen sink. Bathroom nice. Cleaning crew did a great job but leaves you an envelope for a tip. The staff was nice and helpful. Paid more for a pool but it wasn't open. It was comfortable after getting used to it. I guess I just expected a lot more for what I paid. ...

For the relatively low cost, we had a good experience. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. There were no plans to stay in the hotel room for very long as too much to do in the area. This would serve as a good place to rest but then get out. The location was great, just one block off the main street with plenty of bar/restaurant options. They offered a shuttle service to the Castle Creek Winery. We had Terry for a driver and made it really fun, offering tidbits about Moab during the drive. I would still book again in the future although try to get a few more bucks off the price. ...

I would stay here again. Great experience with this place. To be honest, I was expecting worse. We drove by the day before and the outside doesn't look too great. There might be some little things that others have mentioned that might not be great (i.e. kitchen sink serves as a bathroom sink), but we had a great time at a clean hotel. My favorite thing was that it's so close to everything. We walked to dinner. We took a late night stroll for ice cream. We walked to breakfast. Good location and quiet. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. ...

Upon arrival, we were treated with courtesy and our check-in went very smoothly. Being on the first floor, we were able to park right outside our door, so it was very easy to bring in our belongings. The room was VERY spacious, compared to most motel rooms. I had booked 2 rooms since there were 3 of us, and they had even put us in adjoining rooms without me asking! The bathroom consisted of a large tub (and great water pressure) and toilet. The sink was outside the door in the kitchenette, no big deal. Don't plan on doing any cooking here, there is no stove/oven. But it had a large fridge, micro, dishes and silverware, and a mini coffeemaker. Unfortunately, no toaster, which we would have appreciated. The location was perfect, one block off the main drag, which was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. ...
