Hotel Guest Reviews of the Safari Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 27, 2011

I know we were going for a low cost and also a place that would allow pets, but we did not expect such a low quality motel. The bed was broken in our first room. We were moved next door to a room where the door had been left wide open and dirt and leaves had blown in and someone piled it up behind the door.

The guy that checked us in was nice, and they worked with us for checking out late because of the marathon, but the room was disgusting, and I couldn't take a shower because I was so worried about catching something. ...

I've seen dirtier rooms, but that didn't make staying here any better. It looked like the bathroom had flooded - there was water damage along the door frame and even the bottom of the desk outside the bathroom looked warped. There was a lot of mildew in the bathroom, especially the window and shower. The bathroom door knob was broken. They also didn't use fitted sheets, leaving the top few inches of the mattress uncovered. Pillows were flat or lumpy.

Very old motel which needs some TLC. Good location within walking distance of several good restaurants. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The closet was nearly inaccessible.

There was Mold/mildew in the bathroom especially in the shower stall, the wallpaper in the bedroom is peeling off the walls, the air conditioner lost power in the middle of the night for long enough to make the room uncomfortably hot, the 1 ice machine was broken.
