Hotel Guest Reviews of the San Pedro Inn And Suites

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

We liked the front desk staff and the convenience of the garage parking and the security of the elevators.
The breakfast was terrible it was definitely not continental.

The room was spacious and well maintained.
The ride back from the cruise was a nightmare. You could not pay me enough to stay here again. I will cruise again and I'm staying some where else.

The Hotel room was great and the food was nice even though they were doing construction it was still not too bad. Until I got off the boat. I called for my ride back to the car and I was told it would be 20 minutes. Which turned out to be an hour and 15 minutes. standing out on the curb in the rain and wind with a hurt leg. The Van even stopped at the port at about 40 minutes in and dropped people off but would not take us and said he would be back in a few minutes which then turned out to be a half hour. When a called the second time to find out what was going on I was lied to and told the the "port regulations" were causing them to be delayed. Well the porter's standing around me that spend their life on the the port were like what "port regulations?" there are no port regulations that effect the hotel pick ups. So not only did I have to wait an hour and 15 minutes for a ride but I was lied to about why they were running behind. Never once did the Hotel clerk apologist for being late or for mis quoting the time. When I finally got back to the hotel the clerk did not want to give me the managers information I very sure we can all guess why. But I did call the manger this morning and he agreed that they did not follow through on the level of service that one would expect for this kind of stay and cruise. I would recommend spending the extra 20$ and stay at the double tree. We saw the van from there stop 8 times while we waited for our ride. Nice way to end your Honeymoon. ...read more

The complimentary breakfast was excellent, the room was large and the bed was comfortable.
The location wasn't the best, but having said that......... I'm sure this was a happening place some 50 to 60 years ago!

Good accommodations for a reasonable price and a very good complimentary breakfast. Also free shuttle service to the cruise ship docks.

Reservation/accommodation was smooth, accommodated two elderly guests while homes were fumigated.
Location is of concern.

The rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The TV in the room was old tube type and programs were limited.

The hotel is located near the freeway but dinning and entertainment facilities are limited. Parking is adequate, but difficult to enter and leave, especially during heavy work hour traffic. The rooms are adequately furnished but furnished with older furniture and TV. Remodel work was on-going on the rooms on my floor, but it didn't impact my stay because I was not there during the construction activities. ...read more

Nice hotel, clean rooms and sufficient parking. Advertises restaurant and bar, but they are not currently open.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Great experience!

This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations for a room at this price point. It was adorable, clean, and has a great staff. It's under new management and they are doing a great job. The rooms are fairly large. Mine was at least half again the size of a friend who was staying at the Hilton uptown at about half the cost.

Friendly staff, nicely renovated, and spacious rooms.
A little bit of traffic noise & TV sets dated.

We both remarked at how surprised we were to find this gem in this seaport town at such a reasonable rate. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night so as not to have to travel after a late night family function.
