Hotel Guest Reviews of the Savannah Suites Atlanta

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very close to downtown
Even thought the room has a little kitchenette area there was no silverware or any dishes whatsoever, not even a coffee mug. So unless you travel with your own portable kitchen, it's pretty useless.

The proximity to my venue. The security staff, never met the office staff
The bathroom was too small especially the shower. One could barely turn around in it. The TV remote was broken (replaced the next day). It was like nothing I had ever stayed in. Disappointed and did not stay my second night.

This was my college graduation and I wanted it to be special and the hotel to be in very close proximity. Online the room looked very decent but in reality was anything but. Regarding the following statement as to how likely I am to refer priceline the answer is very. However, this hotel is not at all.

Its not far from the Phillips Areana
My room smelled like smoke. The bathroom had water on the floor. The signage to check in was bad

You definitely get what you pay for. Luckly, we were only in the room for at about 4 1/2 hours so it was the absolute worst. If you don't like to see people hanging out or sleeping on the sidewalk, I probably would choose another hotel. It didn't bother me because I came in at midnight and was on the road shortly thereafter.

The staff was definitely very helpful and courteous, and was the best thing about the hotel experience.
While the room overall was neat and clean, the bathroom had obvious mold spots in several places.

For the price, the hotel was certainly adequate for an overnight stay in downtown Atlanta.

This hotel came at a great price, and the armed guard convinced me to stay. I like that I was able to back my SUV right up to my door and get out of there with great ease.
I wish I'd had a clue about the neighborhood. The property is right near a very active homeless shelter. I arrived at feeding time and the empty lot next door was swarming with hungry homeless, resembling a scene from The Walking Dead.

If you are a business traveller on a budget, do not fear swarms of homeless, and bring your own food(there is NOWHERE to eat nearby, and you probably don't want to go exploring to find something), then by all means go for it!

I had to change rooms a couple times due to the room not being cleaned. The hotel was good location wise, but I would think twice about staying here again.
Savannah Suites' cleaning staff was not good at all. The room we stayed in was not cleaned while we left the room. We were not given clean towels on the days stayed at this Motel. I did appreciate the security that was offered at night.

This Motel was close to somethings, but would not stay here again. The cleaning staff could have been better with supplying us with clean towels each day. I would think twice about staying here again.

Love the location! It's cheap & at a great location.
Yes! Some creep called my room at 4 am. It went like this. "hello, we haven't officially meant, I'm in the room above you, my name is .... " I said, "its 4 am" he said, "can I give u my # so u can call me?" I said, "its 4 am & I'm not going to call u"

Cheap price, great location. One block from Peachtree Street North East. Next to homeless shelter, that is why u see homeless ppl standing outside. Like anywhere else, they will leave u alone. I've been at this hotel for 1 week, looking for a job in Atlanta. Anyways, all the horrific crimes being committed in this country, turns out they all have been committed by someone who has a job & a home. I bet you anything that our co-workers are more hostile than these homeless ppl are. Bet you experienced more harassment from your co-workers than from homeless ppl, you get my point. It's cheap, its next to homeless shelter, but its not that dangerous. ...read more

the staff was friendly they allowed me to keep my bag there before and after my stay.
Yes, it was in a very dangerous area, by a homeless shelter. Furthermore, the rooms were somewhat dirty because the phone didnt work which could be a safety concern and in addition, the matress was aweful, the sheets also had stains on them and the comfor

the comforter had a hole inside the material.

We didn't like anything.

Priceline took us to a hotel that was in a bad and dangerous location, room was broken, roaches, couldn't sleep due to arguments outside our door that carried actions of crime and bodily harm. We left way early. Tried to get our money back but there is no number to contact a represenitive for Priceline so we tried to talk with them hotel and they were ruded, refused, and blame priceline. The hotel said we did not book and pay with them. ...read more
