This place was AWESOME! We even met the owner of the entire complex. He was kind enough to take us on a guided tour of the grounds and even drove us out to the beach in a Golf Cart. What a very personal and genuine thing to do! It was much appreciated.

Family Traveling with Young Children
Saw Mill Creek offers a beautiful, safe environment with a lovely golf course, fabulous restaurant and its own private beach. It is close to Cedar Point and the water parks, but in a peaceful more remote location.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgable. The room was nice & clean, nicely stocked. I had requested a room near the lobby, and that's what we got, on the first floor, as I am handicapped. The room had a somewhat strong antiseptic smell when we first went in, but that's fine, better than something worse... We had dinner at the restaurant in the resort, good prices, with hearty portions, very good food. I had the cajun tilapia, and my husband had the 1/2 bbq ribs. Both were excellent. Fall off the bone tender ribs with a good sweet bbq sauce. They had run out of the cole slaw with my husbands ribs, fairly early in the evening. When my husband really didn't like the substitutes, the waitress went back to the kitchen, and they made up a special batch. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we only had the one day there. We will return, and will recommend this facility to family and friends. ...

Dont stay at this hotel if you like to sleep. The beds are horrible. You feel like you are sleeping on a water bed. all of us woke up with back pain!
