Hotel Guest Reviews of the Scottish Inn Rite Spot Motel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 2, 2013

I got a non-smoking room as requested. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and had a vintage flavor from the '50s or '60s. Hotel was located on a major road so travel was easy to and from. Hotel is located in a country area outside of town so sleep was easy due to a reasonable amount of quiet. This was a good choice for the price minded for a no-frills stay. The room has all you really need; nice bed, TV with remote, fridge, microwave, full bath. ...

For the price that I paid, I deserved better.

Just a good place to stay for cheap. Traveled for business and had a lot to carry into the room. I liked the outside entrance to my room for that reason. Owners were nice. Old furnishings, but everything worked. Nothing fancy and bit dusty from the country road. Served it's purpose. Was far from location of business, but the price more than made up for it.

The price for a one star motel is pretty pricey. There are steps everywhere, definitely not for handicap people.

Basic old room with a bed that is close enough to Gettysburg to drive the next morning, and far enough away for the prices to drop.

Only stay here if its your only option. I was tempted to move and expected much more for my $89/nigh, but seeing as I had already paid I had little option. I had to wake the night manager to hand in the keys at 6AM.
