Hotel Guest Reviews of the Seaside Inn Monterey
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 7, 2013

This is a really good deal. Very clean and tidy and the staff was super friendly. We booked through an online site and showed up at almost 11pm. When we rang the bell we got a prompt response and on finding out that we were siblings, not a couple, the owner? gave us the suite with 2 rooms so we could have some privacy. She was also kind enough to let us keep that room when we decided to stay the next night. Aside from being clean (by far the most important thing in a cheap motel) it was also pretty quiet despite being on a major road. It's a quick drive from downtown Monterey, super easy to find when you get off the 1 and worked well for a side trip up to Santa Cruz. ...

Nicely remodeled rooms and attractive prices for this area. Beds are very comfortable and the large LG television has all the hookups for whatever video source you have. Can be noisy due to location on busy street, but usually only on the weekends. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room was pretty clean except for items left behind in the dresser drawers by former occupants. Overall, a pleasant experience and we would stay here again in the future. ...

This is a great place to stay in Monterey. It's not the Embasy Suites, or the Hilton, but for sleeping, quietness, and very friendly staff, for the money, it served our purpose. The parking is tricky but we made due and never had to park on the street. The room although small, met our needs and had a small frig, and a microwave. TV gave us all the channels we watch and the wifi was great. I'd stay there again for sure. ...

Clean, old school charm. Great price for location so close to the ocean. Will stay here again.

I loved that it was in a regular town, as I could enjoy walking across the street access to grocery store, Target, etc. The woman who owns the hotel also told me about several places to hike & explore by the beach, also in walking distance, very cool woman

Hey - Monterey is nice. Cannery row had great restaurants and bars with fantastice seafood. Try Louie Linguini - clam chowder 2nd to none. The aquarium is really great (and we have been to several.) Otters, seals and sea lions swimming all over the bay !!
