Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sequoia Inn Redwood City

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It had a refrigerator and microwave.
No coffee maker and on a busy street, bed was really old.

Clean and close to downtown and public transit.
Limited parking and thin walls; Internet reception was good, but sometimes intermittent.

Small rooms, but clean and good for one or two people. Close to Downtown restaurants and public transit. Internet dropped several times during the day, but it works pretty well otherwise. Good place for business travelers, and for those who want to be near Downtown shops and restaurants and/or use public transit.

Price, and
location.
Mold.

It might take 5 minutes to eliminate it, then 5 minutes a week to maintain it.

Easy to get to my destination from this hotel.
Lights and tv were hard to figure out.

Very basic, friendly staff. Close to amenities.

What staff I did see was friendly. Felt comfortable hotel was very quiet and in a safe area.
The only thing I was not comfortable about was the mold in the shower/ tub area.

I would book there again, when I return again to visit my family. Inspite of the mold in the shower/tub area, the rooms was very clean and most comfortable. As far as I am concerned, I give it a thumbs up!

They tried to decorate and it wasn't dingy, it was pleasant for a 1 star motel.
Walls were thin could hear everyone else.

The manager was very accommodating. Very nice people. The motel was a 1 star it served our needs. Absolutely no frills so don't expect any. There was a nice refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Value! I got everything I expected for the money I paid, clean enough room and close to Cal train and restaurants.
TV did not work.

Great quality at a low price; very friendly staff; clean!
Love this hotel; will definitely continue to use it during trips to area.

Small, no-frills family-run hotel offering great quality for a low price. Room was colorful and newly painted. Free wireless Internet worked with no problem. TV picture was excellent. Room came with a microwave and mini fridge. Our no-smoking room smelled clean and fresh. Highly recommended if cost is a concern and you need a safe, convenient, clean place to stay.
