Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Dallas Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 21, 2013

Nice place to stay. Convenient to downtown. Parking was pricey, whether self park or valet, and no advance notice of that charge before booking.

Great looking place, conveniently located with great potential. Hopefully, it was an isolated incident, but there were other hot places in the hotel.

Hot water problems but staff responded well. Since it was the last day-just a few hours before checking out I was able to use a shower in another room.

Overall, a nice hotel. Very large, takes some time to get from place to place (parking to your room, for example) Everything was clean, the staff was nice and rooms very comfortable. Not sure I would qualify this one as a Four Star hotel, but very nice none-the-less.

Overall, the hotel is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. My room had a great view. The location is great for business and attractions in downtown Dallas. The food at the hotel is pretty good and there are a number of great restaurants in the area. The hotel offers self parking for a fee and internet service has a cost as well.

Do not stay here if you want a 4 star hotel experience. It's a worn-down old convention-center-style hotel that has seen its better days.Complained to the hotel manager without resolution about the following items:1) Gross stains on the comforter2) Dirty brown marks on the sheets and blanket3) No pillow cases on any of the 4 pillows in the room4) Gross stains on the pillows5) I was staying in room 578 and the phone was programmed as room 5796) No dirty clothes plastic bag in the room7) Front desk and valet phones just rang and rang with no answer (called 5-6 times with no answer)8) Had to wait over 20 minutes to get car each day because nobody was answering the phone when calling in advance to have car brought around9) I called housekeeping and the manager every day for 4 days and they never fixed the problem10) I slept on top of the sheet fully clothed because it was so dirty. The next morning, I woke up sick, not sure from the dirty room or something else. This hotel has no business being a 4-star hotel. This is the 3rd time that I¿ve complained to Priceline about this hotel. I will not utilize Priceline in the Downtown Dallas area again (and I travel there every week for business). I will not recommend Priceline for the Downtown Dallas area to anyone and will definitely not recommend the Sheraton Downtown Dallas to anyone as a 4 star hotel. Someone from Priceline needs to re-visit this property and make an assessment of it¿s rating. I don¿t think this is the kind of Hotel that Priceline would stand behind as a quality 4 star hotel. When I got this hotel, I pleaded with Priceline via chat to put me in any other hotel other than this one since I'd complained about it before. They told me that if I had any issues to let the hotel and Priceline know about it. I did have issues and let the hotel know and they did not do anything about it. We'll see if Priceline does or not. Spare yourself the hassle and just avoid this hotel. ...
