Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Kauai Resort
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 13, 2012

This hotel was a bargain considering the area/location. It was very clean, decorative, easily accessible, nice pool area, breakfast buffet was scouting pricey, but food was fresh and very tasty. The valet guys were helpful, friendly, ans efficient. Some shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Delores, a concierge, was extremely helpful, professional, and informative. She assisted us in booking some tours. We would definitely recommend this property to couples, families.

The rooms in the oceanfront wing of this hotel are amazing. The rooms are large, comfortable and modern. You literally have the ocean crashing right below your lanai. If you get a garden view room you'll be behind the ocean/beach front wings and across the road. The pool area was smaller than expected but there is a great beach right there so it's not a big deal.

A decent hotel but looks run down despite their vast recent upgrade. Activities such as lei making and hula were second rate, ie used fake flowers for lei making which seemed cheap for a "resort" hotel. There's a $25 per day resort fee but resort activities, internet availability was lacking, no HD TV in rooms. Parking was included in resort fee which was good. Restaurants were overpriced while food was mediocre. Location, however, with access to a beach was impressive. At a lower hotel category and price, this hotel would generally be considered nice but definitely not a resort category hotel for neither its service not amenities. ...

Great location can walk to places to eat. There is a nice public beach down the road. I did not like the fact that you can not bring personal chairs on the beach. The room was clean but outdated-but I did not come here to stay in the room. Nice balcony overlooking the rear pool was a quiet place to enjoy a drink and a snack.

An excellent experience. Our room assignment exceeded our expectations. The hotel has been recently remodeled and is really a first class facility. The staff was super impressive. From front desk staff to bartenders and valet parking staff. They were terrific!

The hotel is in a wonderful, beach-front location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant on-site is currently undergoing renovation. It was supposed to be reopened a couple of months ago, but there were reportedly a number of construction delays. The larger ponds in the garden area were torn up, with plumbing exposed.
