The Sheraton in Hauppague is a very nice hotel and I would stay there again. There were many convenient services available for business guests as well as families. The pool was great for the kids and I loved the bar. They have a nice business center and offered shuttle services to local restaurants. The hotel does not have laundry facilities!

The staff at the hotel was very accommodating and friendly. We had some trouble with the a/c in our room. They moved us quickly and also comped us for breakfast the next morning for our trouble. I was rather disappointed in the hotel rooms. The carpets were stained and the furniture old and worn. This hotel is in serious need of a remodel. The appearance does not reflect the star rating at all. The breakfast we had was pretty awful. If we had paid for it, I would have complained. The food was cold on the hot buffet and the coffee was like mud, I think the spoon stood up in the cup on its own! The OJ was good and the fresh made omelet wasn't bad either. It was conveniently located off the expressway, so getting there was a breeze. If I were able to choose the hotel on name-your-own-price I would not choose this establishment.

My wife and I ordered the exact same breakfast two days in a row. The price was $8.00 higher the second day. We never ate at the hotel again. We picked this hotel in the past because it is in the middle of relatives that live in the area. We will pick a different hotel in the future.

Family Traveling with Young Children
First time at Sheraden. We didn't stay! Arrived in our room for our weekend "Stay cation" and put our bathing suits on and went to pool. It was filled with about 30 screaming boys jumping and flipping off the edges and having chicken fights. I was scared for the safety of my young kids, they were knocked into in pool. Parents standing around watching and openly drinking beer from cans. Birthday balloons everywhere. Hot tub jets were broken. Maintenance said they had been broken for months. Management could not control the party. Packed our bags and immediately left. Got a room at the Hyatt in Hauppauge. Sheradan should NOT have a 3.5 star rating! Not even close to the same overall quality as the Hyatt which is true 3.5 stars hotel. ...
