Family Traveling with Teens
Hotel was very nice. Family room is very big with a king size bed, large bathroom suite, living area (the sofa is not a sleeper as advertised), and kitchenette area with dining table. Free internet is only in lobby area. If you want to use WiFi in room, you must pay a fee. Supplemental beds are pricey so think twice before bringing children unless they share your king size bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location near mass transit, large mall, restaurants, parks, theater, etc. Hotel offers valet parking at a steep price (almost 30 Euros per day). Off-street parking available but you have to pay meter parking (about 1,50 Euros per hour-careful with meter police...they are very diligent about checking for expired parking). We took advantage of a nearby community area directly in front of hotel and parked for free at a distance of one block away. Overall the experience was very nice, although pricey. The highlight of our stay was seeing the Real Madrid team (they usually stay at this hotel in Madrid) in person in the hotel lobby:) ...
