Overall, I was pretty dissapointed in my experience since I felt like Sheraton and the star level I bid on is known for being impressive. My husband and I bid on hotels each time we travel and this is the first time I was let down. When I first went to check in, the lady helping me got a call from a room that needed their pillow replaced because they checked into a room that had a dirty pillow. When I got to my room, I realized the bottle that would cost me $3 to drink was already enjoyed by the person before me, it was half empty and housekeeping didn't catch that it needed to be replaced. For this same price, we've stayed in rooms that have microwaves and mini fridges, which is nice because we're there on vacation and need a place to store and warm up leftover food. Neither of those was provided in the room. The staff was very nice, especially at the front desk and room service. However, the day of our checkout I went to the bar to grab a couple of waters and the bartender didn't even respond when I said "hi" or when I asked for some waters, he just turned around, made them and handed them to me. It made the encounter awkward and it came off as if he was annoyed I asked. He seemed to be a supervisor too, since It took him a while to notice I was standing at the bar as he was going over information with a younger gentleman. Overall, the experience was OKAY since it was only one night and I definitely expected more. I wouldn't go there again. ...

You should try the restaurant downstairs. They didnt have many of the beers we asked for in the bar, but the food was excellent. I might stop in there for lunch during the week. The rooms were nice, the bed was comfy. What more can you really ask for?

When staying avoid the first floor rooms. If you wander down the hall opposite of the lobby you will see why. Perhaps it is the rear entrance to the parking lot that we used ourselves that tracks in all of the problems. This area seems to actually smell. Once in our room, other than the carpet, it was acceptable. We stay in Tempe quite often and have our opinions of what is the best food around. It is not too close to this hotel. For a nice variety of excellent dining and servers try "The Claim Jumper" in the outlots of the Arizona Mills Mall on Baseline. Best bar food is the Thirsty Lion or maybe a Zipps. Have fun. ...
