Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Steamboat Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location right at the foot of the ski slopes is unbeatable. The hotel is near to dining and shopping as well.
Nothing stood out

This is a great ski-in/ski-out hotel in steamboat. Would return there again if we go to Steamboat.

It was dog friendly at no extra charge. The room had a balcony overlooking slopeside activities.
It was a positive experience.

The staff was delightful and accommodating. The stay was great.

The location with respect to skiing; the courtesy of the staff; the availability of free transportation into town; the jacuzzi (especially its location!)
With respect to overall cost, there should have been at least a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. Also, the television service was not easy to use and the number of channels was quite limited.

Overall, I would definitely return to this hotel in the future. The services that were provided including ski storage, free transportation, computer access, wonderful concierge assistance, overall layout of the hotel, athletic/workout rooms, steam baths, closeness to the running trails along the river, and of course, the location of the gondola just across the square.

Great location
Deceptively added a $20/day resort fee on top of priceline.s

Great location, but beware of the hefty resort fee

The location is the best on the mountain. There are good restaurants within walking distance and the ski in/ski out location made our trip very enjoyable.
Although I requested a king ahead of time, as mentioned by Priceline they were only able to give us a room with 2 double beds. They claimed there were no King rooms available however the hotel was clearly not full. We went on a Sunday-Wednesday.

The pros were definitely the location as well as the cleanliness and convenience of restaurants or supplies for skiing. The cons were mostly the type of room we received even though requested with lots of notice. The resort fee of $20 per day was also a con however this has been normal with high end hotels and included our parking which would've been $15 per day anyway. It also included internet which some make you pay for. The internet was slow but it was free. ...read more

location -- right on the slopes! Perfect for a ski weekend!
Nope, it was all good.

Great location for ski activities. Responsive and friendly staff. Ameneties were very good. Onsite restaurant was a bit pricey but good food (breakfast). Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Steamboat who didn't specifically need to be downtown!
