Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Suites San Diego At Symphony Hall

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Price.
Rooms were old. My room was located above the parking elevator mechanical room and very noisy. Hotel parking is on the 11th floor. Yes, that's 11 floors to drive up and down.

Location fine. Room larger than normal.
Parking situation terrible. Must park on the 11th floor of garage after navigating very narrow drives and painters/equipment on various levels. Also expensive, $26 per day. Also, maze of elevators to get out of garage to rooms.

Hotel okay but its location on the upper floors of a mixed use office/theater building creates problems. Also, parking absolutely terrible and expensive.

The room given to us was next to the elevator which made horrible noise. This took a toll on our sleep and we did not enjoy the experience. A good place like Sheraton should have done something about the elevator noise which is quite irritating.

We would have loved the stay but for the room being next to the elevator. The staff informed us that the hotel was full and hence they cannot offer another room. This made the whole experience really bad.

Was unaware of the $30 valet or $25 self parking for this hotel due to city parking availability.

It's a neat set up. After you park, which is expensive, you go up 12 floors to the lobby then the hotel begins. The rooms are great & the hotel staff was great too. Besides the parking I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly.
There are two elevators required to get to the rooms. It was kind of a weird format. The minifridge, ice machine, and one elevator were inop.

Nice room. Close to gas lamp district.
The fact that this cheep motel charges for the Internet is ridiculous. They should tell you that nickel and dimes their customers. If we avoid this hotel then the will either change their policy or close.

The staff was very helpful, complete professionals. I have dogs and they were very welcome. The room was ample size, and we felt well treated.
The room is is need of renovation. Everything is showing wear and tear from a broken desk drawer to scuffed up wall paper.

Overall I favor how well I am treated, and this hotel has very professional staff. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the location is close to the freeway. The parking lot is an adventure in a large SUV, but once you get up 10 floors there is ample places near elevators. The rooms have not been renovated in ten plus years and show some age.I had great cell coverage on both AT&T and Verizon. Tethering within my room there was no problem getting LTE speeds for Internet access. ...read more
