Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Room was spacious and well supplied with toiletries and included a refrigerator (on request). Wireless internet access was relatively fast for a hotel as I could actually watch Netflix online without the annoyance of frequent rebuffering delays!
Rooms were poorly insulated and noisy -- from both hallway sounds (doors slamming, conversations, etc) as well as from exterior noises due to automobile and truck traffic.

Hotel was in a fantastic location on the riverwalk with bridges that turn colors at night.

Great downtown location.
The hotel had some wear tear and is starting to show it's age.

The hotel is in downtown Tampa near Channelside. The hotel is starting to show it's age. The carpet is completely worn down and the furniture is very beat up. I stayed on the preferred floor, so I can only imagine what the other floors looked like,

It was available.
There is no sound filter from hallway noise whatsoever. I heard a woman across the hall from me screaming "don't touch me!" repeatedly and had to call the front desk to request security. Definitely not worth the price. It's old

The bar/restaurant were good. Otherwise definitely not worth the price. It's old and dingy. I will never stay at that hotel again. I got it site unseen due to a short notice engagement and hotels in the area were extremely limited for that night.

The staff was great from the front desk, to the frendly housekeeping, to the valet, even the fellow who operated the little store. Great Beds too!
The furnishings were well warn and at the end of their productive use and the carpet was on the boarder of being unacceptable. The new trend on the free internet being so slow so they have something else to sell during your stay is a real drag.

This hotel is a great location along the river and the common areas are nice. They should spruce up the front desk area to have it look as professional as the rest of the lobby and common area. The rooms are average with well used furnishings. The beds were great!. (The carpet has got to go.) I would stay here again but would hope that just a few, yet somewhat expensive, things get improved some time sooner than later. ...read more

Our first room was facing the city and was a little especially the bathroom, but the next day we asked for an upgrade to the water view and the room was bigger and the balcony facing the river was great! All staff were great! kind and very helpful.
I understand there is very crowded parking but if I had to say something I didn't like then it would be having to pay 18 for parking but I do understand why they have it and everyone was wonderful!
