Excellent quiet location with easy access around the city. Clean quiet rooms and free safe. The advertised pool does not exist which was a disappointment. Food options can be limited depending on time of day.

This hotel is conveniently-located in a quiet suburb, on the metro line directly to Placa Catalunya, which is the heart of the tourist area and Gothic area. The lobby is nice and the receptionist that checked us in was friendly and gave us a map when I asked him for one. He also gave us helpful information about the public transportation system. However, the night before we checked out, we checked with the reception staff, so that we could leave promply in the morning. That staff informed us that the room wasn't prepaid. After we insisted for several minutes, he found proof of it on his computer and said we didn't need to do anything else in the morning. When we were leaving in the morning, while our taxi's meter was running,we were stopped by a different staff and asked to settle the bill. While he was polite, he said that he did not have record of our receipt and that no one had informed him that we had prepaid. After I insisted for several minutes, and 5 euros later, he found record and asked to make a copy of MY receipt! In addition to this hassle, the room was adequate but the bathroom was so small that when I sat on the toilet, my hip touched the shower door! Business/tourist hotel with large clean rooms. Nice staff let us into the room before noon.

Good location. Poor service.

This was a 3 Star hotel but it is defintly worth 4 stars. It was very clean. It was great!
