Hotel Guest Reviews of the Silver Cloud Inn-Seattle Uw District

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

excellent location near my appt at UWMC, ample FREE parking, comfortable clean rooms, nice staff, free breakfast. Lots of things! ;)
No...no complaints at all!

Price was right for location, access to UWMC and stadium with parking and breakfast included, and comfortable, large and clean rooms...Silver Cloud UW came out on top! Thanks to Priceline and Silver Cloud for helping me select a great hotel choice last minute!

Check in/out was easy. Good location in the university district. Free parking. Adequate continental breakfast. Noticed some traffic noise from 25th Ave but this didn't seem to keep me awake or wake me up early. A few local eateries if you don't feel like driving somewhere for dinner.

This is a very poor hotel for the price point on Priceline. I am disappointed.

The location was the best thing about the hotel.
The bathroom was small, the staff didn't clean the sink after throwing away left over coffee so the sink was dirty when I opened the door, they made the bed over the TV remote, the only had one set of towels for a king size room.,

The room was over priced. You can stay at the Marriott for a better deal. The hotel is old and I believe most hotels allot their older rooms for people who make reservations from a travel site. The cleaning staff left a lot to be desired. The sink was not clean, I found the TV remote under the sheets after the bed had been made, they left the iron and board out after cleaning the room, and there was only one set of towels in the room. The location is terrific if you are attending an event at the University of Washington or have business north of downtown Seattle. It is close to the University Village so that means great shopping. ...read more

The room itself was nice and of quality. The location is just great.
The bathtub was dirty, had several pubic hairs visible. I was going to take a bath until I saw this.

Clean, wholesome feel, comfortable room, great TV and internet service, very nice staff, great location for the U District and an easy access to the rest of Seattle. Loved their nice breakfast room: spacious, clean, and actually served good food.
No, it was all fine.

I think I did that above. I would totally recommend it to travelers on the same kind of budget as us (middle American baby boomers). We really loved it, and hope to stay there again the next time we are in Seattle.

Great staff
Everything was as should be

Nice, quiet stay and great staff. And as long as any breakfast has waffles I am happy.

The convenience to the Seattle University District
The breakfast was primarily centered around powdered "scrambled" eggs and very inexpensive, high fat, low nutrition, pork sausages that were swimming in grease. The fruit choices were limited to over-ripe bananas, bruised oranges, and pithy appl

The property is located adjacent to a great walking path that will take you directly to the nearby shopping. There is an excellent Mexican food restaurant located directly across the street. During the evenings there was an abundance of ladies of questionable intentions loitering in the parking lot near the entry door. The Seattle Police Department showed a strong presence by circulating the parking lot from time to time. ...read more
