Hotel Guest Reviews of the Silver Ridge Lodge
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 11, 2013

Family Traveling with Young Children
We arrived with 2 adults and 3 kids. We were happy with the extra space and the suite was nice but it did set us back more money than originally expected. Otherwise, the hotel was really nice and the owners were friendly.

My stay at the Silver Ridge lodge was good. I'm definitely not a big fan of the motel style (horseshoe of rooms surrounding a central parking lot), but the owners have really done good with what they've got to work with. My room, and the rest of the facility, was spectacularly clean. The included breakfast was as you'd expect...muffins wrapped in plastic, cold cereal and juice out of a dispenser. Very nice flowers and plants around the outside of the facility. Very low-end amenities/appliances in the room...about what you'd expect in a motel, except that it all worked and was crazy clean. Because of the facility layout you can hear all your neighbors & the activity in the parking lot. Any normal place the lodging price would be exorbitant, but in a place like Salida, where rates are jacked to the roof, the price was comparable to other local hotels. ...

I have never stayed at a nicer, prettier establishment, cleaner rooms ever. Staff is the most congenial folks with loads of info on local activities, etc.

Room was advertised as a balcony suite only to find out it was on the ground floor. The manager's attempted to accommodate me, but I decided better off not lugging things up and down stairs. Glad because I actually really liked the room they gave me which was very comfy and private and I wanted to stay longer. The room was clean and quiet and I slept well. The manager's take meticulous care of the grounds. Everything neat as a pin yet homey and welcoming. ...

This is a quaint, older style fifties motel that has been impeccably managed to provide a clean, comfortable and value-packed stay for travelers that do not need the designer look and amenities of franchised chains.

I felt it was a good hotel for a good price. I was pleased with the hotel management, who made us feel welcome.
