For the most part our stay here was good and I would likely stay here again. The problems we had were minor but for a 5 star hotel I would expect more. The Ipod Bose Player didn't really work...the plug for it was worn out and for the first few days I was able to fiddle with it and make it work but then it died all together. Also the closet door would not fully close leaving the light on inside it all the time. I had to use a suitcase to lean up against the door at night so it wouldn't keep us up. And lastly we ordered room service the first night....$98 for about $25 worth of food...they automatically take on a 5% room delivery fee AND 18% tip plus tax so really not worth it at all. Other than those things we had a good stay here and like I said would stay here again. ...

The location is awesome, one block from the White House. We had a room located on the interior side and it was absolutely quiet with a nice spacious bathroom. The staff is very knowledgeable and forthcoming. Great service, including 24 hour room service. The "bon jour" (as this is a French hotel chain) response on the phone can be a bit annoying after a while, but we just laughed at this cultural habit and enjoyed the French-influenced food. ...

Its location is about a 5 minute walk to the monument, 5 minute walk to the mall, 15 minute stroll to DuPont Circle, and overall a great location.
The room is what you would expect a 4 star to be, clean and very comfortable bed.
The staff was absolutely wonderful and made sure we were comfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but enjoyed some wine in the bar. The servers kept our glasses full, educated us on the wine's we drank, and kept the snacks (free) coming. I would stay here again IN A MINUTE! ...

I thought this hotel was amazing. I was skeptical when reading some online reviews, but my room was spacious, the bathroom was huge with a great shower and bathtub. The front desk staff was top-notch, even the maid was super friendly and in a great mood every time I saw her. The free water at night was a good touch. Only negatives were a poor view of an adjoining building and paying $10/day for internet. ...

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean. It is in a great location you can walk anywhere from this hotel. I feel this hotel is a little over priced. They charge for internet. Valet service is understaffed at peak times.

I booked a room for my boss to stay at during one of his business trips. He said he was very impressed with the size of the room and the location. He said that the staff was very friendly to him. He raved about how much he liked the hotel.
