Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sofitel Minneapolis
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 20, 2013

Hotel property impressive in terms of public spaces and available amenities. Includes a morning French coffee and pastry shop that exceeds all possible expectations. Try their quiche for sure. Hotel not walkable to attractions, but travel to attractions never seemed a burden. Concierge very helpful and even took time to help us (as first-time guests) take advantage of hotel amenities. Ample free parking, free wi-fi (could pay extra for extreme bandwidth) and there was no extra charge for a room refrigerator. Our room was spacious, well lighted through a wall of windows, and the AC system was whisper quiet. Room compulsively clean (I used to be in cust svc and I check for details) and furnishings and supplies of very good quality. Great bed and bedding, and no noise from the halls or from outside. We got a really good price- thinking probably because we were there over a weekend. Just off the scale in terms of luxury and comfort! ...

Family Traveling with Teens
The hotel was located in an area we were interested in visiting. The staff was very helpful but the room and furnishings seemed very "tired." The pillow were great but the top that was on the mattress was not comfortable and just a good mattress was probably needed instead of that "topper?" I really thought that I would have had a refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room as 3 stars hotels do. They did offer room service coffee if I wanted but I am a tea drinker, so what would that have been? Not that this has anything to do with the hotel but it would have been nice to know that I was bidding on a room that had 2 beds instead of one king bed. My teenager did not like that and a roll-a-way is an insult to the situation-show me any rollaway that is great to sleep in? ...

It's an older hotel with small rooms. However the rooms were very nice and modern. Bed was comfortable and staff was very nice. The restaurant was extremely good.
