Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. The staff was friendly & helpful. It was a really great environment!!
The valet area was really small & a little dangerous.

Great location. Walking distance to so many places. Great vibe. Youthful & friendly staff.

nice rooms, great location to the gaslamp and Petco Park.
Parking was a bit outrageous at $40 a nite...seems a bit extreme.

Rooms are really nice 4-star quality. Nice amenities and big Flatscreen TVs. Right in the heart of the gaslamp and two blocks from Petco Park. Staff is very friendly and accomodating for room requests. Great eats nearby especially Rockin Baja Lobster for Mexican Food. Or party at Dick's Last Resort (one block away). Parking is very steep at $40....highest of any hotel in the gaslamp. You will love the cool bathrobes in each room and the rooftop bar on level 4 (I think) is pretty hip too. Hosted wine happy hour from 5-6pm is a nice perk as well. ...read more

The location was excellent, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and I could open my window!
There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

I was there on the home-game opening day, and it was PACKED in the restaurant. This is a great place for baseball fans. There's also a bar in the restaurant where you can watch the game. Being in the Gaslamp District is also great for people who are there for fun. I was there on business, so with my open window I could hear the revelry pretty late - but it wasn't annoying. The clocks in the rooms have a nature sounds feature, which I used. ...read more

I never take the time to fill out these surveys, but in this case I have to give the staff kudos. They were very friendly from the beginning and made our experience an epic one. Thank you Solamar.

Great staff, great location. If you don't want to pay $40/night for parking inside the hotel, there is a pay parking lot across the street for $20/night. that's the way to go. This hotel is 2 blocks from Petco park and 1 block from the gaslamp quarter.

Staff was very nice and helpful.
Room was small and no view other a roof top.

Location was ok as long as you do not have a car valet parking is $40.00 a night. Great Hotel if you are going to a ball game. Staff was great, food was over priced and not much selection. No coffee in the room.

The staff was wonderful. The restaurant, Jsix, was excellent with the best wait staff -- especially Shannon. We loved the wine hour every night.
No drawers in the room. We like to unpack but there was not place to put our clothes other than the closet. Also, $40 per night parking fee, especially for a handicapped person, is a bit much. The gym is tiny.

Be aware of the parking fee. The hotel is right in the heart of the Gaslamp District and near the convention center. Still, if one is a guest of the hotel, the parking fee should be a bit lower.

This hotel had a great location. Wonderful view in the evening of the gaslamp district. Nice boutique hotel. Facinated by the choice in lighting in the common areas
The pool was smaller than expected but there were so many areas to real and the combination of lounge, pool and firepits made for a great afternoon and evening venue
