Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sonesta Es Suites Atlanta

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The breakfast was wonderful. It contained a large variety and the food was delicious. Needless to say - that was about all that went well!
The rooms were not modern or clean. We were thrilled to see that this hotel had a pool and Jacuzzi on the premises but upon checking in, we found it unavailable for use.

Upon checking into our room, we found body hair all over the floor in the bathroom. After asking the front desk to clean it for us (because we didn't want to repack and unpack our belongings) we came back to our room later in the evening to find most of it still on the bathroom floor! It made us uncomfortable sleeping in the beds - because we didn't trust that room service actually did their jobs. Neither did they have the necessary cables to connect the supplied DVD player with the supplied television. After asking the front desk to bring us a cable, she brought us the wrong cable and said she would find the right one and bring it back. After an hour or so, we gave up waiting and put the DVD into our computer DVD drive. We were not happy! Make sure the pool and Jacuzzi are available for use (in the case it matters to you) before booking your hotel as there is currently construction and are unavailable. ...read more

Good breakfast.
The hotel has three floors, but there are no elevators. Rooms are fairly old and in need of new furniture.

This hotel was everything it showed on its website. It was super clean with outstanding amenities I would highly recommend it to friends and family and definitely use it again.
I loved everything

Very spacious. Everything you need for an extended stay is there. Property is beautiful. Only minutes away from mall shopping and restaurants.

The check in staff and the fact the hotel was under construction with NO PARKING. I should have been made aware of this prior to booking!

Location
All rooms accessed from out side. 3 floors, stairs only (no elevator). Also no housekeeping on weekends. For an additional charge they will deliver towels or any other items needed, otherwise you must pick them up at the front desk yourself.

The location of this hotel was excellent, close to lots of shopping and resturants. I know through priceline you are not guaranteed special requests, but most hotels try to accomodate, not Sonesta Es Suites Atlanta. We requested a non-smoking room because of family members with allergies. They said they did not have any non-smoking rooms available. But for an additional charge they could upgrade us to a non-smoking two bedroom suite, that made our great priceline rate double nightly, so much for a deal. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone with a disability or for any one that has trouble carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs. ...read more

Front desk staff was great, I was traveling with a pet and they were totally prepared for that. They have a "must crate" policy and I "cheated" some on that requirement and they didn't hassle me (used a baby gate). Room was ok. Nice to have kitchenette
There were some dusty areas and the furniture was pretty beat up. Carpet was very dark, which makes me wonder if it was clean. Also the room (bathroom, bedroom) really needed more light. Breakfast staff was a bit unwelcoming.

I felt very safe at the hotel and the location was perfect. Great to have kitchen facilities, and great place to stay with a pet. Very friendly front desk staff and maid service was careful with my pet.

I have a 4 mo old so the kitchen was great for me to prepare her food! The lay out of the rooms are great as well separating room from living area.
I think the tv's could definitely be upgraded.

Staff was very pleasant and hotel was quiet and peaceful! Love the Mon-thurs social. Breakfast is also great. We have stayed here every month we are in town.

This Hotel Wasn't What I expected At All. From Some Of The Reviews I Was Initially Skeptical. However This Place Was Great. The Staff Was Friendly. My Daughter Enjoyed The Daily Breakfast. Having Two TVs (Although TubeTVs) Was Awsome.
I Have No Complaints About This Hotel. Pack Light OR Small Suitcases Because There Are No Elevators. Which Was Not A Huge Problem For Me.

I Totally Feel That I Got My Money Worth. Very Family friendly. TVs Has Dvd & VHS HOoked Up To Them. Kids Watch TV In One Room And I Got ToEnjoy My Programs In The Other Room. Close To Shopping, Plenty Of Shopping And Wonderful restaurants. Free Daily Breakfast Was Nice. Can't Forget The Free Wifi. Overall We Had A Great Experience.

Great hotel, rooms were good size. Beakfast was good, although after three days of eggs and waffles that was enough. But the food was plentiful. Staff did whatever was necessary to make the stayy pleasant. Great priceline price for the services.
Would book again, changing nothing.

There are three floors would ensure got a first floor room. Steps were bothersome. Would encourage others to experience it and think they would like it too.
