Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sorrento Hotel Seattle
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.January 9, 2012

Far from the city, small rooms and bleach smell in the room and on the linens.

After going to a Mariner's game we got back to our hotel and decided we wanted to buy a six pack. We asked the front desk where the closest store is and we started to walk there (it is close by), but before we knew it the hotel's shuttle driver, who should have been going home as his shift was over, pulled up beside us to pick us up to take us the rest of the way!

Lovely rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Courtesy car service very handy instead of driving yourself in the downtown area.

This hotel has an attractive facade and the staff (while often not at their desk or valet posts) were friendly. The room they put us in, even after I paid for the 'upgrade' fee was on the 2nd floor. It faced the back of another really ugly apartment building that was only 3-4 meters away. The Air conditioning didn't keep the room cool (it was only 22 degrees Celsius outside) and the 'suite' was too small for a cot to put up for one of the kids. There isn't a single restaurant within walking distance (except the high priced, formal restaurant in the hotel) and since there is no parking, we were forced to use the valet every time we wanted to go anywhere. ...

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The building had an old worldly charm. The rooms were each a little different. Because of mixed up travel plans, we had to return without a reservation, and the staff managed to squeeze us in to a very full hotel, so we experienced a variety of rooms, all very comfortable.
