Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sorrento Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The rooms were great. The staff was very helpful after Priceline let down. Priceline does not allow to choose number of guests when booking and they did not have any rooms available but did accommodate us for the rest of our stay.

Parking is quite pricey. You get two complimentary drinks with your reservation. It is a classic hotel, one elevator but charming.

I love the old world charm of the hotel. The staff is exceptional in their graciousness and friendliness. The bed is so comfortable!!!
One morning we ate at the Hunt Club. While the staff were charming, the pace of the meal was slow. Our order was taken promptly, but it was over 30 minutes before our food arrived.

Great staff at Front Desk, Concierge/Valet and Lobby Bar. Lovely Old Schol ambiance, rich dark wood, romantic lighting. a step back into time

Ambiance.
Mattress was way too soft. Need better beds.

Great "old European" hotel, intimate and romantic, close to downtown area, quiet, near hospitals.

The staff at the front desk were gracious and friendly.
Thought the location was not really downtown Seattle, and the complimentary car service was not as available as one would expect.

The staff was generally speaking gracious and helpful.

The Sorrento was charming, historic and friendly. The woodwork in the lobby, bar and restaurant was elegant and lovely.
The decor of our room was a little dated. You could see layers of paint & floors were uneven. To be expected in an older hotel, & added to charm.

We loved this hotel. It was warm, charming and inviting. The service was terrific, from the bellman to the bartender to the front desk concierge. We were upgraded to a suite which was much appreciated. The room was lovely, may-be a little worn but it was elegant and the beds and linens were top notch. The bathroom was small but well appointed and done tastefully in marble and neutrals. The location was a little off the beaten path (We usually stay at the W or the WAC); however, the Sorrento has a car that can take you anywhere in a 2 mile radius. We had a terrific stay! ...read more

The staff is among the best we have ever encountered!

After going to a Mariner's game we got back to our hotel and decided we wanted to buy a six pack. We asked the front desk where the closest store is and we started to walk there (it is close by), but before we knew it the hotel's shuttle driver, who should have been going home as his shift was over, pulled up beside us to pick us up to take us the rest of the way!
